TuneIn Radio Pro

We have posted many different types of Internet radio over the cloud, but many of the cloud based radio apps do not support AM/FM radio.  Well, this app that is only 99 cents for your iPhone or iPad will allow you to listen to many AM/FM radio stations (70,000) globally and it also adds the ability to record them as well.  This is LIVE radio, so you are listening as it is happening around the world. If you want to look for your local radio station just use the search on the call letters of the radio station you want and B-I-N-G-O, you are set.

The interface is very easy to use and it’s only 99 cents, so why not give it a try.

WebMD for iPad

If you travel a lot then the WebMD for iPad is a great app that you can get from the iTunes app store for free.  This is like a doctor on your iPad and it can help you get to what you need quick while you are on the road.  It lists out the symptoms of medical issues, gives you information on first aid and treatments for medical issues.

You can find this at the iTunes store

Anti-Virus scanning from the Cloud

A new trend these days has emerged with anti-virus.  In the old days you went out and either bought an Anti-Virus program or you had one already on your computer and you paid a subscription.

Well, today you can actually have your computer scanned for viruses and malicious software from the cloud.  You install a free program on your computer and it allows you to scan from remotely.  This means it takes up less resources on your computer, while you still check your computer for viruses and other nasty things.

Panda has a really high quality anti-virus trial to see if you like it or not.
