Plex Your Media

There are times when you have videos, photos, and music on your computer and you would like to have this content on other devices such as your tablets or phone.

Well, with Plex this is now possible.  Plex gives you a way to organize all of the media in your life so that it is easy to view on any screen you want.   You will want to download the Plex media server and install it on your computer before you can use the apps.  The server is the software that you install on your Windows or Mac computer that allows you to serve up the media to the different devices and then you download the app for one of the platforms below.

Plex is FREE and the app is available on the following platforms to use…

• Apple iOS (Ipad, iphone)
• Android devices
• Windows Phone 7
• Windows 8

NOTE: You need to install the server part first on your computer and then download an app to use it on any device.

Improving File Management in Microsoft Windows

One of the first thing that people get confused with on Microsoft Windows is how to copy or move files to different locations.  Well, wouldn’t it be nice to have multiple tabs using Windows Explorer so you could deal with files using one window and not have your screen all cluttered up?

Well, I found an answer to that problem.  With Clover that you can download for FREE here, you can actually have “web browser like tabs” for your Windows Explorer to do file management.
